about us

The Birthplace is a premium birthing facility that acknowledges the fact that giving birth to a child is a defining moment in a woman’s life,
one that should be celebrated with family and friends and cherished forever.

‘Having a baby’ should ideally mean a lot more than ‘safely delivering a baby.’ It should imply the well being of the mother and the child over a much longer time frame; during pregnancy and well after delivery.

We believe that pregnant women will greatly appreciate a service that provides

1. High end clinical care in a facility focused on obstetrics
2. An integrated approach to pregnancy focused on both, clinical care and wellness

Our objective is to make childbirth an experience worth cherishing, for the mother and her family. Since we are just as well equipped and well staffed as a large hospital, a 'safe delivery' is a given. However, it is the value of the overall experience (clinical and non clinical) that differentiates us from the others.

We know that pregnancy comes with its own set of needs and requirements which need to be addressed; such as a mother's anxiety, the fact that she'd like for everything to suit her personal needs, and at the same time want to celebrate the birth of her baby, a milestone in her life. At the same time, we aim to provide her with the best treatment, medical advice and offer them ‘pathway driven care’.

While some may think that the things we do are breakthroughs, for us, they are nothing but a complete insight and understanding of all our patients' wants and needs, all of which are driven by a heavy dose of empathy.

people philosophy

Convention dictates that a company looks after its customers first and its employees later but at The Birth Place we believe it to be the other way around. We're also sure that this seemingly counter intuitive strategy will lead us to greater customer satisfaction, better service, and higher revenues.

In our opinion, employees should be treated as partners and participants in our success. We hold each and every individual at The Birthplace responsible for transforming, thinking and providing much greater value to customers.
