Growth Scan

ensure your baby is Growing As Expected!

Growth Scan - A scan that Checks How Well Your Baby Is Growing

2 in 1 - Nov. 8 - image.png

Why is a Growth scan done?

A Growth scan is normally done, between 28 - 32 weeks of pregnancy, to assess the growth of your baby.

This scan is also done if your baby is in the breech position; is not moving well or often enough; if the umbilical cord is around the neck; if you are carrying twins or triplets; if the baby is larger or smaller than expected; amniotic fluid is not in the normal amounts.

In case you have had complications in your previous pregnancies, your doctor might advise a Growth scan as and when needed to closely monitor the health of the fetus.

Visit the Birthplace today and get a Growth Scan at 15% off our regular price of Rs. 4,000!

The Growth scan is performed in the third trimester of your pregnancy during which your doctor checks your baby’s:

  • position and weight

  • the position of the umbilical cord

  • amount of amniotic fluid

  • general wellbeing

Note: This offer price is for a single pregnancy scan only. Price will vary for a Twin/Triplet pregnancy.

Our regular price for the scan is Rs. 4,000.

The PCPNDT Act prohibits the determination of the gender of the fetus. It is illegal and will not be performed at the Birthplace. No form of genetic profiling or advice or consultation will be given based on this scan.

Note: Ultrasound diagnostics can neither guarantee the detection of all possible congenital anomalies nor comprehensively rule out the presence of any congenital anomalies in the fetus. It is a valuable tool used in conjunction with your gynecologist’s opinion and laboratory test results to get the best possible assessment of the health of the fetus within the inherent limitations of ultrasound diagnostics due to the position of the fetus, amniotic fluid levels, resolution of the equipment used and various other factors.
