NT Scan

ensure your baby is Healthy & growing well!

Nuchal Translucency Scan (NT) - A scan that Rules Out Down's Syndrome

2 in 1 - 22d Nov. image.png

Why is an NT scan important?

Nuchal Translucency Scan is performed, between 11-14 weeks of pregnancy, to help screen for and rule out Down's Syndrome in your baby.

The scan alone picks up about 75% of fetuses at risk for Down's Syndrome but for a more accurate result, it is combined with a blood test that measures levels of the free hormone beta-hCG and levels of the protein PAPP-A, improving the detection to 85%.

This is a safe and non-invasive test that doesn’t cause any harm to you or your baby, so, why don’t you schedule your appointment today?

Visit the Birthplace today and get an NT Scan at 15% off our regular price of Rs. 3,500!

The NT scan combined with a double marker blood test can also help rule out the possibility of

  • acquiring chronic or gestational hypertension

  • developing preeclampsia

  • fetal growth restrictions

Note: This offer price is for a single pregnancy scan only. Price will vary for a Twin/Triplet pregnancy.

Our regular price for the scan is Rs. 3,500

The PCPNDT Act prohibits the determination of the gender of the fetus. It is illegal and will not be performed at the Birthplace. No form of genetic profiling or advice or consultation will be given based on this scan.

Note: Ultrasound diagnostics can neither guarantee the detection of all possible congenital anomalies nor comprehensively rule out the presence of any congenital anomalies in the fetus. It is a valuable tool used in conjunction with your gynecologist’s opinion and laboratory test results to get the best possible assessment of the health of the fetus within the inherent limitations of ultrasound diagnostics due to the position of the fetus, amniotic fluid levels, resolution of the equipment used and various other factors.
