TIFFA Scan

ensure your baby is Healthy & growing well!

TIFFA - A scan that Rules Out Fetal Anomalies

Prenatal scans image.png

Why is a TIFFA scan important?

Targeted Imaging for Fetal Anomalies (TIFFA) Scan is done as a part of routine prenatal care, between 18-23 weeks of pregnancy, to rule out structural and chromosomal abnormalities in the growing fetus.

The TIFFA scan helps visualise the presence of the major external and internal organs of the fetus and also allows your doctor to check if they are developing well.

Additionally, it is an opportunity for you to see the fetal movements; perhaps even catch a glimpse of your baby waving back at you!

Visit the Birthplace today and get a TIFFA Scan at 25% off our regular price of Rs. 4,000!

Some important parameters measured in this scan are:

  • Fetal cardiac activity

  • Position of the placenta

  • Amniotic fluid volume

  • Estimated fetal weight

Note: This offer price is for a single pregnancy scan only. Price will vary for a Twin / Triplet pregnancy.

Get 25% off on Your TIFFA Scan!
Our regular price for the scan is Rs. 4,000.

The PCPNDT Act prohibits the determination of the gender of the fetus. It is illegal and will not be performed at the Birthplace. No form of genetic profiling or advice or consultation will be given based on this scan.

Note: Ultrasound diagnostics can neither guarantee the detection of all possible congenital anomalies nor comprehensively rule out the presence of any congenital anomalies in the fetus. It is a valuable tool used in conjunction with your gynecologist’s opinion and laboratory test results to get the best possible assessment of the health of the fetus within the inherent limitations of ultrasound diagnostics due to the position of the fetus, amniotic fluid levels, resolution of the equipment used and various other factors.
